Brand round 5, abstract Twin treatments, 24 October 2026

Abstract Twins

The same canonical body, never drawn as a surface: four ways to imply it from points, lines, threads and light. Front and three-quarter on the stone and the night ground, and once at the 120 px a section would give it.

Stipple volume

About 40,000 points on the surface, densest where the body turns away from the camera or from the light, a few hundred still drifting in: the Twin as data that has gathered into a shape.

Contours

Ninety horizontal lines at 2 cm, thicker where the surface faces you: the Twin as a measured map, every centimetre accounted for.

Threads

Four hundred fine threads run head to feet along the body and come loose at hands and feet: the Twin as something woven from many signals that stay connected to the world.

Cross-section glass

No surface, only light gathered at the edge of an empty interior: the Twin as a presence, deliberately left open for the person to fill.

Director's reading, 23 October, evening

Threads is the Twin. Four hundred lines run the length of the body and come loose at the hands and feet: a person woven from many signals, still connected to the world. It is abstract without being a particle cloud, it has a hand in it, and nobody else draws a body this way. It also says the product's sentence without words: many threads, one figure.

Stipple volume is the motion layer. It is the same language as the website's point cloud, now with real light and depth (denser where the body turns away, a few points still arriving). The hero's WebGL points should learn from it: one light, tone by density, drift at the edges.

Contours and glass are closed. Contours read as a scan or a wire mannequin; glass is a faint outline that disappears at section size.

Next: the threads figure takes the "Measured for you" readout and the hero's end state (the points gather, then draw themselves out into threads), with a night version; the clay renders stay in the folder as reference only.
