Brand round 3, for the owners
Running the five-second test with 5 to 8 people
Unmoderated, about two minutes per person, on their own phone. The page shows the homepage for five seconds (the switch on the stage stays off, so they see the five places and the headline), asks six short questions, ranks the three headlines and picks one of the two looks. Nothing is stored: each person copies a block of text and sends it back to you.
1. Who
- 5 to 8 people who already measure something about their health (a watch, a ring, a training app, an occasional blood test). Endurance athletes welcome, but not only them.
- Nobody who has seen One L1fe, the deck or the app before. Family members only if they have not heard you talk about it.
- On a phone, because most visits will be. One or two on a laptop is fine.
2. Which link each person gets
Everyone sees the recommended headline. Grounds alternate so both get seen first by half the people. Send one link per person, in this order:
| Person | Link | Sees first |
|---|---|---|
| 1, 3, 5, 7 | ol1-brand-preview.pages.dev/test/?v=a1 | Light stone (recommended) |
| 2, 4, 6, 8 | ol1-brand-preview.pages.dev/test/?v=b1 | Night (runner-up) |
3. The message to send
Could you do me a two-minute favor? Open this link on your phone, tap Start and just look at the screen that appears. It disappears after five seconds; then a few quick questions about what you remember. There are no right answers and "no idea" is useful too. At the end, tap "Copy my answers" and paste them back to me here. Please don't look anything up first.

Don't explain what the app is before or after, until all answers are in.
4. Scoring
Score every answer block on three questions, each yes, partly or no. Yes needs the core idea in the person's own words, not the exact wording.
| Question | Yes means they said | Example of yes |
|---|---|---|
| Product | An app (or AI coach) for health, fitness or training | "A health coaching app", "AI that coaches your training" |
| Problem | Health data is spread over places (devices, reports, logs) that don't talk to each other | "My health data is all over the place", "nothing connects my watch and blood tests" |
| Benefit | It combines that data into what to do next, today or over time | "Tells me what to do next based on all of it", "suggests my training for the day" |
Also count: "who decides" answers (target: most say "me, the app suggests"), trust with blood results (yes, maybe, no and the reasons), any unclear words, the headline votes and the look votes.
5. When the round passes
- At least 4 of 5 people (or 6 of 8) score yes on product, problem and benefit.
- Nobody reads it as a medical or diagnosis app.
- If one look wins by two or more votes, it becomes the homepage ground. A tie keeps the recommendation.
- If a word comes up as unclear twice, it changes.
Send the answer blocks to the session that runs the next round; it scores them and updates /brand/.
